This organization is a deeply Christian Ministry which has many programs aimed at helping the community and children. Grace Place Central is located in Mutungo, UG.
Grace Place has 14 additional communities scattered across Uganda. Kids Read will provide Garden Towers over the next few years to these locations too, supplying a sustainable source of food and a source of income for some of their members.
The Grace Place Community School has 88 to 100 children and provides education and daily meals to them. The kids range in age from 3 on up. Many of these children are from families which have lost parents to HIV. Through our Feed 2 Read Nutrition program, Kids Read will provide necessary food items providing necessary nutritious food for children suffering from malnutrition. Our Garden Towers project will be a sustainable and ongoing food source. Kids Read also provides books for education via their Kids Read Library dedicated in September of 2023.
Join us in making a difference in Uganda and helping Grace Place provide nutritious food, clean water, and Garden Towers for a sustainable and ongoing food source.

New Garden Tower Supplies
This is 9 year old Ruth who is the size of a 6 year old. Biggest clue of malnourishment is her size and the course, dirty orange hair which should be black and lustrous.
These thriving garden towers were planted in the Summer. Here the children help harvest food for the school and the teacher is explaining how the food grows and the nutrition it will provide.
As part of our support of these kids and to help fight malnutrition, Kids Read is providing bananas, milk, eggs and apples weekly to their diets.
